The 80 young people from Schwyz who have registered can look forward to a varied sports program next week. You will experience sport in all its diversity in Tenero from Sunday at the 32nd Schwyz Autumn Camp.
On Sunday, October 1st, Youth and Sport Schwyz will be traveling to the Swiss Sonnenstube for the 32nd time in the fall and spending a polysport camp week there. This time, 80 participants can enjoy camp life at the centro sportivo sports facilities until Saturday, October 7th.
New faces in the squad Under the direction of the sports department of the canton of Schwyz, a varied program was once again put together for the young people of Schwyz. Since Mario Agostini handed over the main management to Karin Streiby, there were also some changes in the management squad. Agostini works in the background for the last time as a good soul and supports his successor Karin with his knowledge. Luca Besimo is once again in charge of the sport. Lea and Simon Schwindl as well as David Camenzind are dedicated to polysports and beach volleyball, while athletics specialist Karin Schnüriger will make her sport appealing to young people. The list of artistic gymnastics leaders is headed by Michael Koch, Urs Wallimann, Andiüger, Peerüger and Carola Baumgartner. Laura Weber and Matthias Fässler will be there for the first time for cycling, as will Janik Arnet and Olivia Wermelinger, who will be involved in martial arts/judo.
The kitchen team under Michael Stöcklin has also proven itself, and thanks to the help of Erich Bucher and Hans Muheim, they will once again be able to put good sports food on the table. Carefree sports and camp life The organizers are looking forward to a hopefully carefree camp for everyone. The 54 girls and 26 boys, from all districts except Gersau, enjoy a variety of sports every day. The majority of young people chose polysport. Group training takes place there from Monday to Thursday. The polyathletes dedicate themselves to athletics, martial arts, cycling and beach volleyball. In the afternoon, participants can choose from a wide range of sports on offer. The gymnasts have their own sports program and hone their technique and routines. The individual camp championship is planned for Wednesday afternoon and on Friday, after a final morning of voting, the team championship will be held before everyone gets ready for the final event in the evening with ranking announcements and awards
