Tens of thousands stood at the start of the 37th Dam tot Damloop today. This morning it was the turn of the competitive runners, this afternoon it is up to the recreational runners. NH reports live from the runners running from Amsterdam to Zaandam. Watch the broadcast below!
Due to the expected high temperatures, the organization previously warned participants to slow down the running pace, drink enough and pay close attention. This warning now seems no longer necessary because it will rain earlier than expected. The mercury will probably remain around 21 degrees today. The wind is blowing weak to moderate from the northeast to east today, so there may be some headwind on the course.
