Rodgers was indeed the victim of a sack by Leonard Floyd, the Bills linebacker, and was seriously injured, finding himself forced to leave the field. The nature of the injury is not yet known, but Jets management fears that an achilles tendon may be affected, which could lead to the end of Aaron Rodgers’ season.
Bad night for Josh Allen
For New York fans, the victory won on Monday (22-16 AD) therefore had little more importance. Trailing 13-16, the Buffalo Bills equalized two seconds from the end of the match on a 50-yard field goal from Tyler Bass. In overtime, a 65-yard punt return from Xavier Gipson finally gave the New York Jets the victory.
