ASBL Omnisports Organizes 8th Edition of Sports Festival with Hot Air Balloon Adventure

This Saturday September 9, from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., the ASBL Omnisports is organizing the 8th edition of its sports festival at the sports center on Avenue du Ronvau. This meeting will end with the flight of a hot air balloon carrying 12 travelers drawn by lot. Last year, 1,200 people visited the site throughout the day. This year, more than twenty free activities will again be offered, including two new ones: blind football and kung fu. We also note the return of golf, mountain biking and ultimate.

The other activities offered: psychomotricity, wa-jutsu, aikido, judo, padel, tennis, football, volleyball, petanque, multisports, treasure hunt, crossfit, skateboarding, climbing, tree climbing, archery, ultimate, baseball , donkey ride, but also an obstacle course and a mechanical rodeo. For mountain biking (from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.), you are asked to bring your bike and helmet.

“The principle of the day is the free discovery of sports activities practiced in the town or outside for a general public composed of young people from 5 to 14 years old (4/5th) and adults (1/5th), indicates the coordinator, Pierre-Yves Docquier. Each participant receives a Pass’Sports which he presents at each activity. The activity is stamped at the end by the operator. Six different stamps entitle you to a t-shirt, eight stamps offer participation in a draw for a hot air balloon flight the same evening.
