At Misano the reigning world champion showed up not in the best condition, but just enough to win a suffered third place in the Sprint Race. “Today was really tough, but it was important to have a base on which to work for Sunday’s GP – Pecco told Sky Sport -. Unfortunately there is no time… I still expected improvement, but the pain remained constant and, particularly in the first few laps, the knee wasn’t so good. The Turin driver remains firmly leader of the World Championship with 45 points ahead of Jorge Martindominator of the Sprint.
