The carabinieri of Uragnanoa municipality located in the province of Bergamo, have foiled a bank robbery. The military have in fact identified the four thieves before they entered the institute. After a chase, the gang was arrested and taken to prison. The group was then placed under house arrest.
The group was caught in the car
Four men aged between 26 and 58 were arrested. For the moment, no information has been released regarding their identity. The group, based on what has been revealed so far, was caught in a car. The vehicle was parked near the bank. Further investigations later revealed that it had been stolen.
The four were arrested
All four were wearing dark suits and gloves. As soon as they realized the presence of the military, they ran away. The police chased them and stopped them shortly afterwards. One of them allegedly showed a fake identity card. During the search of the car, the carabinieri had found several burglary tools and some two-way radios.

It was possible to discover that the gang had a second car at their disposal which was later found along the route they took to escape from the police. This vehicle was also stolen.
All four were arrested on September 21st and taken to prison in Bergamo. However, the judge then ordered house arrest: they were then taken to their places of residence. The four, in fact, are originally from Catania and some municipalities in the province.
