Sergio Brown, former Buffalo Bills player, is missing and his mother Myrtle Brown was found dead in a case that makes him a homicide suspect.
The case was reported to Illinois authorities after the Brown family reported that neither of the two relatives had been found since last Saturday.
Sergio Brown, 35, remains missing. The mother of the former NFL player, 73 years old, was found near a creek, Maywood police reported.

The forensic team from the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office conducted the investigations and determined that the mother died due to several injuries resulting from an assault.
Sheila Simmons, Myrtle’s sister and Sergio Brown’s aunt, He said he last spoke to the victim last Thursday. and he didn’t hear from her until they reported the case on Sunday.
“We are going to find out what happened because it is not normal for my sister not to answer the phone, not to respond to text messages. People have been approaching her since Friday. No one could locate her,” Simmons said.
“Now I got the call this morning saying that she was missing, so I immediately came here and found out that my sister was dead,” commented the victim’s sister.

Sergio Brown played as a safety in the NFL in 94 games in which he played with the New England Patriots. Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars y los Buffalo Bills.
Brown was in the league from 2010 to 2016. Brown stopped playing in the NFL at the age of 28.
In college, the former player was with the University of Notre Dame and was later taken by the New England Patriots.
