Former US Open Champion Andy Roddick Praises Novak Djokovic as the Best of All Time

Former US Open champion Andy Roddick was the one who brought the trophy to Djokovic in his final victory over Medvedev. Despite being heavily criticized by some of the Serbian’s fans over an altercation in 2008, Roddick praised Djokovic in an interview with Betway Insider:

“Novak’s dominance and the way he’s able to win consistently… it’s just absurd. He’s probably the most reliable player we’ve ever had in the game. I would never bet against him, on any surface, in any format. It is impossible to give a statistical argument against him being the best of all time. It’s like proving gravity at this point. He’s now tied with Margaret Court on 24 Grand Slams, but he wants all the records, so he’ll want to get to 25. But you never take health for granted, especially towards the end of your career, but, if he is motivated, his body looks like it can keep going for a few more years. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that he is the best athlete on earth right now. »
