Organized by the Basque Judo Federation and the Judo Klub Lizardi, with the collaboration of the sports department of the town hall, from today until Sunday the international judo stage will be held in Zarautz. More than 250 athletes from all over the State will gather, accredited in the four training sessions that will take place in the Aritzbatalde pediment. Almost 600 square meters of tatami so that all the attending judokas can train, and start the 2023/24 season. There will be athletes from the cadet category, and in the sessions of two hours each, priority will be given to practicing among them. The sessions will be led by technicians from the Basque judo federation, among them, the Olympian Ohiana Blanco, who will be in charge of the first session today, Friday, and tomorrow, Saturday morning, Diana López, Judo Klub Lizardi technician, and cadet selector of the Euskadi team. The other managers will be Carmen Solana and Oscar Gibelalde, in addition to other technicians that federations and clubs will bring.
