Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, was interviewed on Movistar where he reviewed current events and also talked about FC Barcelona. The manager was questioned about Barça’s options to sign in the winter market and explained the conditions under which incorporations can be made.
Tebas acknowledged that Barça had improved its financial situation: “”It has improved a lot. They have made an effort in their salary bill. Tebas’ pulse would not have trembled when it came to determining Barça’s relegation “if the social disciplinary judge so decides. The president does not decide the relegation, just as he did not decide that of Elche or Guadalajara. Personally, he would have reported that these acts had to have a disciplinary sanction.
The president of LaLiga did not dare to predict the end of the case: “There remains a long path of investigation, but there are behaviors that have no explanation. I don’t know if there will be consequences for Barça. We have already seen with Osasuna that there were sanctions against its leaders and not to the club. Something similar may happen or they may all end up acquitted, but explanations will have to be given for many behaviors.”
