JSV Speyer Women Reach Bundesliga Final, Defeating JC Wiesbaden in Semi-Finals

The women of JSV Speyer are in the Bundesliga final. In their own hall, team boss Nadine Lautenschläger’s selection prevailed in the semi-finals against JC Wiesbaden on Saturday afternoon. After the first round (7:0), Speyer was only one point short. Jana Ziegler started things off. Mascha Ballhaus followed suit just as quickly.

Geke Van den Berg suffered a bump. Amber Gersjes fought her way through extra time. Yelyzaveta Lytvynenko triumphed in the Ukrainian duel. Jill Trenz and Teresa Zenker (without a fight) took care of the rest. At the start of round two, Seija Ballhaus made it clear that she had made it to the final.

Defending champions TSG Backnang, peppered with superstars, also won the first round with JC Bottrop 7-0.
