Latvian basketball player Kitija Laksa scored seven points in the match of the second round of the Turkish championship on Sunday, as her represented Istanbul “Fenerbahce” celebrated the victory. “Fenerbahce” beat “Galatasaray” at home with 84:56 (22:13, 16:10, 24:19, 10:11) in a duel between two Istanbul giants.
Laksa made his only two-pointer, one of three long-range shots and both of his two free throws while playing 23 minutes and 12 seconds. She also had three rebounds, one assist, one foul, one steal, one note, a positive +/- (+10) and nine efficiency points.
Emma Meesemana stood out for the winners with 25 points and 13 rebounds, while Meltema Yildizhana scored 17 points for the opponents. The team represented by Laksa has started the season with one win in two games.
“Fenerbahce” became the winner of the Euroleague for the first time last season, and also celebrated the victory in the Turkish championship.
