Kumamoto Volters Seeking Volunteers for Operational Staff and Arena Attendants

Thank you for always supporting the Kumamoto Volters.

The Kumamoto Volters is looking for operational volunteer staff and arena attendants (AA) who can support the team through the operation of home games.

If you are interested in basketball, event management, or volunteer activities, if you like the Kumamoto Volters, or if you want to liven up Kumamoto, why not join us at our home game venue?

Business content

1. Venue setup (the day before the match)

① Court setup…Game court setup (laying floor markings, arranging chairs, etc.)
② Installation of decorations inside and outside the venue

Time: 13:00-17:00
Location: Kumamoto Prefectural General Gymnasium, Kikuyo Town General Gymnasium, Mashiki Town General Gymnasium

*A light snack will be provided for those who can participate for more than 3 hours.

2. Match management (on the day of the match)

①Borutan Fluffy Management (before the match starts)
② Home game management…Entrance support (inserting handouts and distribution work)
③Seating information…Seating information at the 1F/2F entrance

Time: All day…4 hours before the game starts – about 2 hours after the game ends
Before the game…4 hours before the game starts until the start of the game
Location: Kumamoto Prefectural General Gymnasium, Kikuyo Town General Gymnasium, Mashiki Town General Gymnasium

*We will provide a boxed lunch for those who participate all day.
*Business start times may change due to events, etc.

3. Evacuation work (after the match)

① Home game removal work: Court removal, garbage removal, removal of decorations and installations inside and outside the venue.

Time: Approximately 2 hours after the match ends
Location: Kumamoto Prefectural General Gymnasium, Kikuyo Town General Gymnasium, Mashiki Town General Gymnasium

*You can also participate on the day.

how to apply

To register and participate as an Arena Attendant (AA), please apply using the “Participation Application Form” below.

Application requirements: Must be a high school student or older at the time of application
・Those who can sign the pledge prepared by Kumamoto Volters when participating for the first time.

*For high school students, parental consent is required.
*Please contact us if you require a volunteer certificate.

About clothes

・Please wear clothes that are easy to move in and shoes (athletic shoes). Shorts and sandals are not allowed.
・Please wear the bibs provided by the club during activities.
・Please remove your bibs during breaks. (Please do not wear bibs and take breaks where customers can see you.)

recruitment shift

Club-specific points are awarded depending on the shift.
Set up the day before L: 5 points
L Match management: 7 points throughout the day (including withdrawal) / 3 points until the start of the match
L withdrawal work: 2 points

Depending on the number of points you earn, you will receive a small thank you gift from the club.
25 points: 1 2nd floor unreserved seat ticket
35 points: 2 2nd floor unreserved seat tickets
50 points: 4 2nd floor unreserved seat tickets
65 points: Autographed colored paper from one of your favorite players (with your favorite name)

Arena Attendant Promises

I am a member of the match management staff for Kumamoto Volters home games. We will welcome boosters visiting the arena, customers coming from away, and other related parties with a spirit of hospitality. By allowing our customers to enjoy the games, we will contribute to the realization of the Kumamoto Volters’ philosophy of “spreading the energy we create together with everyone and energizing Kumamoto and the entire Kyushu area.”

Regarding activities

In order for those visiting the arena to have a safe, secure and enjoyable experience, and for all volunteer participants to enjoy their activities, we ask that you comply with the following items.

・Private approach and photography of athletes, mascots, and related parties during work
・Participating in private seating and events (including handouts) during work
・Smoking, eating and drinking, purchasing marchés, goods, etc. during work
・Watching a match at a place other than the designated time or location
・Posting photos, videos, and information from work on personal SNS, etc.
・Actions that are detrimental to the club
・Leaking information obtained through activities to outside parties
・We will enroll in the activity insurance specified by the team. (The club will pay the insurance premium in full)
・Arena attendant wear (bibs) will be provided during the activity.
・Photos taken during activities may be posted on the Kumamoto Volters website and SNS. (If you do not wish to be featured, please let us know in advance.)
