The first incidents occurred on the banks of the Trieux.
Hit with a metal chain
A 39-year-old man, who was walking along the river, was attacked around 9 p.m. by two men, who hit him with a metal chain, used to leash their dog.
Under threat, they forced the man to go to the ATM, located near La Poste, in the Saint-Michel district.
The man was forced to withdraw 50 euros, which he had to give to his two attackers. Once he returned home, the victim called the police to warn them and file a complaint.
A woman attacked Place du Center
The second attack took place a little later, around 11 p.m., Place du Center this time, against a background of alcohol. According to the victim’s statements, a 39-year-old woman, four men pushed her to the ground and hit her, before stealing her credit card and her cell phone.
The gendarmes told the Echo de l’Armor et de l’Argoat that these attacks against a background of alcohol “are unfortunately more and more common in the center of Guingamp”, despite the patrols carried out regularly by the police forces. order in the city.
