New Visual Revealed for Second Season of ‘Mix: Meisei Story’

A new visual has been released on the official Twitter account for the second season of “Mix: Meisei Story”, which you can admire below.

The second season is directed by Tomohiro Kamitani (among others Chaos;Child) in Studio OLM. Atsuhiro Tomioka (“Ace Attorney,” “Inazuma Eleven,” “Pokémon ”, “Laughing Under the Clouds”) will contribute the character design. It was previously confirmed that the series would pick up after the summer of freshman year of high school. The second season celebrated its TV premiere in Japan on April 1, 2023 and can be followed in the simulcast here on Crunchyroll.

Manga has been published since 2012

Mitsuru Adachi started the series in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine in 2012. The series has so far included 20 volumes in Japan. This is a sequel to the baseball manga “Touch,” which was also written by Adachi and was published from 1981 to 1986. This manga also inspired an anime adaptation and three anime films. The series also received a live-action film adaptation, which premiered in Japan in 2005.
