The Chiefs are automatically overrated as a championship team. Too bad we can’t take this line at 7, but let’s see: Chris Jones most likely won’t play, and without him there will be little pressure on Goff. When this QB is comfortable in the bag, he plays well and produces. In addition, it is normal for the underdog to come out in the opening game.
Prediction: Chiefs 27, Lions 28 – HIGH (2)
Sunday September 10
Texans @ Ravens (-10), 44.5
Maybe they seem like too many points, but in my opinion they are few and we are even overestimating these Texans a bit because they have a new QB, system, etc. It is still a very young team, and on the other side there are veteran coaches and QBs who will know how to take advantage of the Texans’ holes.
Prediction: Ravens 35, Texans 23 – HIGH (1)
