The national team is made up of 29 players, among which are members of the PAthlete Support Program (PAD) and the Program Heading to Santiago 2023 of the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD).
In addition to Peru, 23 other countries will also participate, such as Argentina, Brazil, Algeria, Bulgaria, India, Canada, Cuba, Ecuador, Spain, United States, Mexico, Norway, Japan, Portugal, Trinidad and Tobago, among others.
The competitions will take place in the following categories: women’s and men’s singles, women’s and men’s doubles, as well as mixed doubles.
Among the badminton players who will represent us, the following stand out: Sharum Durand, Jose Guevara, Diego Mini, Adriano Viale, Rafaela and Fernanda Munar, Fernanda Saponara, Ines Castillo and Paula La Torre.
