The win snapped a 22-game losing streak (including five forfeits in the 2021 season when Derby ended its varsity season due to safety concerns over a lack of healthy players). Ben Roden, Northwest United: Quarterback had five passing touchdowns and rushed for another to lead Northwest United over Platt Tech 52-8. Roden connected on touchdown passes of 50, 2, 8, 21 and 8 yards for the Workhorses.
Brady Rossacci, Sheehan: Ran for 151 yards and three touchdowns on just nine carries during a 54-0 rout of Wilbur Cross. His TDs covered 20, 10 and 39 yards.
Rykese Saunders, ATI: Had five receptions for 130 yards, including touchdown grabs of 48 and 51 yards to help ATI to its 41-0 win over O’Brien Tech.
