Quebecer Matthew Bergeron savored victory in his official NFL debut following a 24-10 win for the Atlanta Falcons against the Carolina Panthers.
The lineman who was drafted at the start of the second round during the last selection session started the game as the starting guard. The Falcons offensive line allowed four sacks during the game and allowed the ground game to be successful with two touchdowns from Tyler Allgeier.
If the latter distinguished himself with two majors and 75 yards, it was the debut of the eighth choice of the draft, Bijan Robinson which attracted attention for Atlanta.
