Record-Breaking Turnout at the 2023 Sardinia Trophy Judo Event in Olbia

Saturday 23rd was the day of the men’s series, which saw the 38 kg category excel Massimo Martinelli (Harmony Club), second Domenico Di Paola (Judo Telese Terme), third Gabriele di Francesco (ASD Mandracchio Roma). In the 42 kg he climbed to the top step of the podium Samuel Serafini (Europaradise), second was Giulio Ramazzotto (Koizumi Scicli), while Francesco Nicola Pirolo (Angiulli Bari) had to settle for third place. Alessandro Cristallini (Poeti del Judo) won first place in the 60 kg category, second Alessandro Mereu (Titania Club), third Andrea Ciuffreda (CRS Akiyama). In the 66 kg he arrived first of all Daniele Moriconi (Judokan Rome), on the second step of the podium Cristian Parisi (CRS Akiyama), third Luca Dandreis (Sakura Osimo). Wins in the 73 kg Jacopo Merone (Kan Judo Olbia), second Riccardo Canepari (KDK S. Angelo), third Brian Justin Camol (Judo Tamai). On Sunday it was the turn of the women’s series: in the 40 kg category it won the gold medal Alice Bronze (DLF Udine), silver for Francesca Sini (OK Club Im), bronze for Aurora Ferro (ASD Mandraccio Roma). In the 44 kg she won first place Ginevra Alois (Judo Olimpic Asti), second Chiara Daniele (Kumiai To), third Maria Garramone (Budon Semmon Gakko). Sofia Guion (Kumiai To) climbed to the top step of the podium in the 48 kg category, followed by Giada Finotti (Accademia Muggia) and Maria Vittoria Mastantuoni (Il Gabbiano). In the 52 kg gold per Acts of Margherita (CRS Ariyama), silver for Nene Sabiashvili (Nicolaus) and bronze for Elisa Cionfi (Judo Grottaferrata). In the 70 kg first place for Mia Shivitz (Kodokan Cecina), second Ginevra Scalzo (Judo Sanremo), third Noemi Zolezzi (KDK Sestri Levante). Finally in the +70 kg category gold medal for Elisa Palermo (Kumiai To), silver for Floriana Perrone (Dojo Arashi) and bronze for Sara Lia Canu (Judo Club Alghero).
