The Badminton Club of VILAJ Thrives at General Assembly Meeting

BOUSSAC. VILAJ Section Badminton flies well. The badminton club, which is a section of VILAJ, met outside, within the gymnasium, taking advantage of the most pleasant weather, in order to present its general assembly under the presidency of Magali Proux, in the presence Isabelle Germain from the Creuse Committee, Sylvain Jeanton representing VILAJ and Nicole Bourderionnet representing the municipality.

36 federal licenses

After setting out the current office, namely the secretary Laura Duceau, the treasurer David Berteloot and the technical manager Rémi Beauchet, Magali Proux recalled that for 10 years the club has been affiliated with the French Badminton Federation and aims to discover this sport.

She then took stock of 2022/23 with 36 federal licenses (19 adults and 17 children) and 9 Ufolep competition licenses. Club life is posted on the Facebook page and Messenger and also on the notice board in the gym.

Training was provided to three licensees. Two official tournaments took place at the gymnasium: departmental youth trophy with 45 registered and the Quasimodo trophy (94 registered).

The treasurer presented the results of the past year which were positive. The price of licenses remains unchanged: competition €65 for adults and €50 for children, leisure €45 adults and €35 ​​children.

Magali Proux explained the existing partnerships then gave the sporting results with the performance of the middle school students who had a great experience during the French UNSS championships representing Creuse.

Next season, teams will register for the interclub championships, there will be the Quasimodo tournament, friendly tournaments with neighboring clubs.

Sunday morning for high school students

Training sessions keep the same time slots with if possible a few hours on Sunday morning for high school students. An equipment project is being studied, quotes are requested. New recruits are joining the board of directors and the office remains unchanged for this year.
