They arrest a person involved in the homicide of a driver on the Mexico-Tizayuca route – El Sol de México

This Friday morning it was announced that the Security Secretariat of the State of Mexico arrested an alleged suspect involved in the murder of a public transport driver on the Mexico-Pachuca highway.

Fernando “N”, 24 years old, is allegedly one of the men who on Thursday, September 7, boarded a bus called “Tizayucos” and after getting off the passengers along with another man, they executed the driver for supposedly not paying. the “protection fee” as these extortionists call it, and then tried to burn the bus but in the end they had to flee the place.

After the homicide was announced, the C5 operators of the State of Mexico monitored a Ford Topaz brand car with license plates MMB4001, which was approached by the two subjects who minutes before had taken his life. to the driver identified as Daniel, 38 years old, in Mexico-Pachuca.

The criminals arrived at a home located in the La Esmeralda neighborhood in the Municipality of Tecamac, where they lost track of them, however, thanks to the investigation work they managed to arrest Fernando “N” in the Benito Juárez neighborhood in the municipality of Nezahualcoyotl.

Apparently Fernando was in charge of driving the vehicle used to commit the crime, so the person involved and the car were transferred to the facilities of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico to continue the investigations and find 3 other suspects.

For the moment, the Mexico-Tizayuca Route has maintained its service suspended since yesterday, in protest against the insecurity that the route operators suffer.
