Despite his current status, the Bolivian was the clear favorite and the one who should dominate. However, Ribeiro broke from the start and held the lead until the end, although he had to escape several break points along the way. In the second, Dellien was able to settle in, organize his tactics and beat his rival. With good rallies, shots and aces, he claimed two breaks and closed it 6-2. When it was thought that the Bolivian was accelerating and it had been just a scare, Ribeiro made an effort, got the best of himself and broke to go up 3-1. From there, he was vastly superior and sealed the 6-3, 2-6 and 6-3.
