The winning streak of defending champions Vienna Vikings in the European League of Football (ELF) is broken. After 14 wins in a row across all seasons, head coach Chris Calaycay’s team lost an exciting semi-final against the Stuttgart Surge 33:40 and missed out on reaching the final again.
Next Sunday, Stuttgart will meet the winner of the Rhein Fire vs. Frankfurt Galaxy in the final in Duisburg.
