600 Athletes Compete in the Professor Daniel F. Hernández National Judo Tournament

The “Professor Daniel F. Hernández” National Judo Tournament started this Saturday with the participation of 600 athletes in four categories, all seeking to raise the name of their entity.

The headquarters of this event is the Arteaga auditorium of our entity, where the opening ceremony was led by Carolina Acosta, director of Quality for Sports of the Institute of Sports and Recreation in the State of Querétaro, who highlighted that in Querétaro promotes jujube.

“In Querétaro we promote Judo to take it to the next level, this tournament commemorates Professor Daniel F. Hernández who is recognized as the initiator of martial arts in Mexico.”

The national tournament takes place in the Arteaga Auditorium in the city of Querétaro, with the organizers reiterating that there is the participation of more than 600 athletes, divided into the categories of first force, sub 18, sub 15 and sub 13.

The competitions began after the opening ceremony, with great intensity and many emotions, since everyone wants to climb to the top of the podium, but, above all, put their state as the best in the practice of judo, in addition to being a event endorsed by the Mexican Judo Federation and the Querétaro Judo Association.
