Almuñécar and La Herradura will host the Andalusian A8 Women’s Cadet Basketball Championship this coming weekend

With no time to lose after an intense weekend of Andalusian cadet handball, the sports halls of Almuñécar and La Herradura change the goals for the baskets as they will once again host the Andalusian A8 Basketball Championship for female cadet provincial teams , this coming weekend and more specifically from Friday the 20th to Sunday the 22nd of October
This was announced by the Andalusian Basketball Federation and the Almuñécar City Council this Monday during the presentation of the event that took place in the Board Room of the Sixth Town Council. The event was attended by the mayor, Juan José Ruiz Joya and the president of the Andalusian Basketball Federation (FAB), Antonio de Torres; who were accompanied by the Councilor for Sports of Almuñécar, Luis Aragón, and, Lucia González, Councilor for the Environment of the Sexitano City Council as well as the delegate of the FAB in Granada, Germán Morales and the person in charge of the CB Almuñécar, Zandu Pérez
The A8 female cadet championships bring together the best players from each province category, and, in addition to what the coexistence and participation with the best entails, they are an excellent test bed for the formation of the Andalusian teams that will represent us in the Championships.
