An Exciting NBA Night Awaits: Eleven Matches, Potential Bangers, and Victor Wembanyama on Deck

Oh the big NBA night that awaits us! Eleven matches, two or three potential bangers and Victor Wembanyama on deck, we call it a… Good Friday.

The evening program:

1h : Hornets – Pistons
1h : Grizzlies – Nuggets
1h30 : Hawks – Knicks
1h30 : Celtics – Heat
1h30 : Cavs – Thunder
2h : Bulls – Raptors
2h : Spurs – Rockets
2h30 : Mavericks – Nets
3h30 : Jazz – Clippers
4h : Blazers – Magic
4h : Kings – Warriors

The match not to be missed: Spurs – Rockets

You’ll have to get used to it, Spurs matches will often be considered this season – by us anyway – as those not to be missed. Tonight and for his second NBA game? Victor Wembanyama faces the Rockets, an “enemy” franchise since he barely concealed his declaration that he was happy not to be part of it. A big group of kids full of talent awaits the big Vic (Jabari Smith, Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun, Amen Thompson…) while Dillon Brooks will perhaps try to target his nuts and Fred VanVleet will try to make his own prevail if the match is close. A hell of a program but quite frankly and like many, we will only have it this evening for our national Wemby, once again.

The French on the bridge

Théo Maledon facing Killian Hayes, with Malcolm Cazalon who will try to scrape a few minutes off the Pistons bench Evan Fournier who is hoping for garbage time to play against the Hawks Ousmane Dieng and Olivier Sarr facing a big challenge: the Cavs Victor Wembanyama and , perhaps, Sidy Cissoko against the Rockets Nicolas Batum who will try to score his first points of the season in Utah, with Moussa Diabaté who encourages him on the bench and who will perhaps play a few minutes depending on the gap. Rayan Rupert who “really” joins the Blazers “rotation”?

But also….

Two very big matches. The first which will see the Cavs and the Thunder face off, two teams that are oozing with talent and who won their first match, and the second, Kings – Warriors, which will be nothing more and nothing less than a remake of the last Playoffs in the West and the first opportunity for the Kings to light the purple beam for a home victory. Two matches not to be missed under ANY circumstances, while we will also be watching Nikola Jokic against Jaren Jackson Jr. or the big clash between the Celtics and the Heat.
