skiing, boxing, baseball, water polo, volleyball, swimming, fencing, baket.. in rugby they don’t even have the national team.. well..
but just look at the historical medal tables to understand how sad Spanish sport is
It’s sad to have to resort to such comparisons, for now the Spaniards are enjoying themselves on various fronts, football (1st world sport) above all.
Baseball, a sport that I don’t follow much but that when I “cross paths” I watch with interest, brushing up on some rules.
On Sunday I saw the last three games (the whole three-hour match would have been too much) and I enjoyed it. Holland were catching us again but after that we dotted the i’s. As a layman I didn’t fear that we might lose because we had given away a couple of points due to mere distraction or unlucky shots and we had one more attack to make
I don’t know the individuals and due to my “ignorance” I can’t judge them. How are we doing on a global level?
