High school football teams are making their last playoff push as it’s the final week of the regular season. Some squads are trying to sneak into the playoffs, while others are trying to secure high seeds to gain as many home games as possible.

There’s also a bunch of big games this week. The Mayflower League titles are on the line in both divisions. The South Shore League Sullivan Division champ (most likely co-champions) will also get decided.

Thursday

Archbishop Williams (3-4) at St. Mary’s of Lynn (5-2), 6 p.m.

The Bishops are a longshot to make the playoffs. The Spartans, No. 12 in Div. 6, are also trying to improve their seeding. The pick: St. Mary’s 27, Archies 18

Friday

Tri-County (5-2) at Blue Hills (4-3), 6

Tri-County is vastly improved following a one-win season. The Mayflower Athletic Conference Large Division title is on the line with this one. T-C can claim it outright with a win, while the Warriors still have Bristol-Plymouth on Thanksgiving. The pick: Blue Hills 26, T-C 22

Mansfield (4-3) at Stoughton (3-4), 6

The Black Knights picked up a huge win to become playoff eligible last week. They’re currently No. 16 in Div. 3. The Hornets are No. 6 in Div. 3, so this one could sway the playoff picture. The pick: Mansfield 29, Stoughton 20

Braintree (3-4) at Newton North (1-6), 6

The Wamps have dropped three in a row and are currently No. 18 in Div. 1. They’ll need some help to sneak into the playoffs. The pick: Braintree 28, Newton North 22

Whitman-Hanson (3-4) at Marshfield (5-2), 7

The Rams are trying to hold off Peabody for the No. 3 seed in Div. 2. The Panthers are No. 20 in Div. 3, so they’re on the outside looking in. The pick: Marshfield 32, W-H 18

Oliver Ames (0-6) at Foxboro (6-1), 7

The Warriors have been the best football team in Foxboro this fall. The pick: Foxboro 32, OA 12

Natick (4-3) at Milton (5-2), 7

The Wildcats will try to stop a two-game skid before the playoffs kick off, but Div. 1 Natick is not an easy opponent. The pick: Milton 24, Natick 20

Plymouth South (4-3) at Pembroke (2-5), 7

The Titans have one win for MIAA seeding purposes, so even with a win they won’t qualify for the playoffs. Pembroke can still play spoiler as the Panthers are on the bubble. Plymouth South is No. 15 in Div. 3, but there are several teams still in the mix. The pick: Plymouth South 28, Pembroke 24

Silver Lake (0-7) at Plymouth North (3-4), 7

This is a get-right game for the Bulldogs. The pick: Rockland 27, Sandwich 13

This one is for the Mayflower Small Division title. Old Colony (4-0 in league play) can clinch the title outright with a win. The Vikings (3-0) also have Holbrook/Avon on Thanksgiving remaining in league play. The pick: Old Colony 21, SST 20

Wellesley (4-3) at Weymouth (5-2), 7

Both these teams are safely in the playoff field. Finishing 6-2 in his first regular season would be a huge accomplishment for Weymouth coach Michael Donovan. The pick: Wellesley 24, Weymouth 19

Middleboro (5-2) at Abington (6-1), 7

The winner of this one likely will share the South Shore League Sullivan Division title with Norwell. The pick: Middleboro 20, Abington 16

Sharon (1-6) at Canton (4-3), 7

The Bulldogs are currently No. 15 in Div. 4. The pick: Canton 20, Sharon 17

Both teams secured their playoff spots with wins last week. The Skippers are riding high following a 42-0 thrashing of a good Mashpee team. The pick: Cohasset 30, Randolph 18

Norwell (6-1) at East Bridgewater (2-5), 7

The Clippers look like they’ll be the top seed in Div. 6. With a win they can lock up at a share of the South Shore League Sullivan Division title. The pick: Norwell 33, EB 20

Hanover (7-0) at North Quincy (3-4), 7

The Raiders have been a much-improved team over the course of the season, but the Hawks are a wagon right now. The pick: Hanover 38, North Quincy 22

Saturday

Durfee (1-6) at Brockton (2-5), Noon

At No. 20 in Div. 1, it seems unlikely the Boxers make the Div. 1 playoffs even with a win this weekend. Still, ending the regular season on a two-game winning streak would be a step in the right direction. The pick: Brockton 24, Durfee 14

St. John’s Prep (7-0) at BC High (5-2), 1

SJP is the No. 1 seed in Div. 1 and the defending state champion. If BC High can make this competitive, it would be a good sign for their playoff chances. The pick: SJP 36, BC High 30

West Bridgewater (5-2) at Diman (3-4), 3

The Wildcats are still in the mix for the No. 2 seed in Div. 7 along with Rockland and Cohasset. The pick: WB 35, Diman 21
