Two days after delivering a performance unworthy of his level against Brandon Nakashima in the second round of the Shanghai Masters 1000 (6−0, 6–2), Holger Rune, in a message published on his Instagram account, made a point of presenting his apologies to his fans.
“I will find a solution and I will come back to fight. At any rate. I’m really sorry for disappointing my supporters yesterday (Friday). And to all my fans in China, I look forward to seeing you again and being in great shape next year”wrote the Dane, obviously very disappointed with his time in China.
