“I hope to debut Tuesday or Wednesday”

The Venezuelan pitcher of the Águilas del Zulia, Silvino Bracho, stated that he is more than prepared to face the 2023-24 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).

In an interview with the rapacious team’s press team, he highlighted that he has maintained an intense training schedule to be in the best physical condition to face this campaign.

“Quite happy, physically I feel quite good, I have a fairly strong discipline with my work, I have not stopped preparing physically. The trip was a little hard because of the delay, my arm feels fine but my body feels a little heavy,” he expressed..

Bracho explained that he managed to release his arm and hopes to be active on the roster of the week to be able to debut between Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. However, he did not deny the possibility of being able to pitch on the Marabinos’ tour.

“I’m going to be active on the roster of the week and depending on how my body responds, I could be in the debut either Tuesday or Wednesday, or on the tour,” he highlighted.

Finally, the iconic closer of the Águilas del Zulia was very excited about the younger figures that the team has and believes that this push will help add victories.

“It’s no secret to anyone how young the team is, they are pretty good guys, very dedicated to the team. When you commit to the shirt you commit to the fans,” he emphasized.

“The excitement in the clubhouse is very good, a game takes place from inside the clubhouse and the truth is that all that joy is brought to the field,” he concluded.
