Jasper Philipsen Claims Victory in Tour of Turkiye Cycling Race

On Sunday, the athletes measured 135 kilometers in Antalya with a small climb 20 kilometers before the finish.

Belgian sprinter Jasper Philipsen (“Alpecin-Deceuninck”) celebrated his 16th victory of the season, who was unbeaten in a sprint at the finish of the big group. The second place was taken by Glebs Sirica (“Astana”), and the third was the Belgian Timotī Dipon (“Tarteletto – Isorex”).

Pluto was the fastest of the Abloc cyclists, finishing with the big group in two hours, 44 minutes and 31 seconds.

The eight-day cycling tour “Tour of Turkiye” will end on October 15 in Istanbul. The bicycle race takes place for the 58th time in history, last year the New Zealander Patrick Bevin won it.
