Jeremy Lamb and Jaylen Nowell Join Sacramento Kings: Fighting for a Spot on the Roster

Jeremy Lamb y Jaylen Nowell They have signed preseason contracts – type exhibit 10 – with the Sacramento Kings, so they will have to fight to find a place in the team this October in order to stay on the roster to play the regular season.

The two guards, Lamb also performs as a small forward, join a squad that has, among others, players like Malik Monk, Kevin Huerter or the dominican Chris Duarte.

Lamb is 31 years old and has spent 11 seasons in the NBA, although he did not play in the league last season. His last team in the NBA was precisely the Sacramento Kings in the 2021-2022 season. The former UConn player has played 573 regular season games in his professional career.

Nowell, meanwhile, has spent the 4 NBA seasons he has played in the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he has performed quite well. In fact, last season Nowell averaged 10.8 points in 19.3 minutes after playing 65 games. The precarious situation in which he finds himself is surprising.
