Karmine Corp in LEC, a revolution?

Karmine Corp will play next year in the LEC, the League of Legends European Championship. A new page is being written for French esports.

Kamel “Kameto” Kebir finally kept his promise. Indeed, last September during KCX3, the co-founder of Karmine Corp announced that the club had never been so close to joining the famous closed league, the LEC in 2024. ” Karmine Corp will be in the LEC next year and for a long time,” Kameto said on his Twitch channel.

A new dimension for Karmine Corp?

The most popular club in France continues its rise to the top. After announcing that it would acquire its own stadium, the Agora arenas in Evry, KCorp managed to negotiate with the Danish club Astralis in order to regain its place in the LEC. Indeed, the French club obtained an agreement worth 25 million euros. Consequently, Karmine Corp brought in at least one new investor, whose name was not leaked. However, the founders of the KCorp have assured to maintain control over the club. Despite an impact on the club’s expenses, after an investment of this scale, do not panic: Karmine Corp will retain its place in LFL (the French championship).

Not here to make up the numbers

Since its creation in 2020, Karmine Corp has been trying to participate in the LEC. And the least we can say is that the club is giving itself the means. Besides the financial aspect, the team’s performance is quite impressive. Indeed, the KCorp has been twice champion of France and has also won the EMEA Masters four times (in four participations). This competition is the second professional European division of League of Legends. The French club will come to the LEC to perform and above all with a dream: that of qualifying for the Worlds.
