Holder of an impressive track record, whether as a player or coach, Steve Kerr is not unanimous on the NBA planet. A controversial figure in the league attacked him following an old criticism from him.
Although he has never played a major role in his various teams, he can still boast of having won more titles than the vast majority of his counterparts. A five-time champion as a player, Steve Kerr has mostly been content with substitute status throughout his career. Moreover, it was on an NBA bench that he converted years later, and always with success.
Coming out of an inconclusive GM experience, the former leader became coach of the Warriors in 2014, with whom he added four new rings to his trophy cabinet. Suffice it to say that he benefits from a certain legitimacy in the league and that each of his words takes on great significance. This does not prevent him from regularly delivering strong testimonies, even from hurting the egos of some.
LaVar Ball’s curt response to Steve Kerr
In January 2018, while the Dubs were preparing to sign the first back-to-back in their history, Kerr spoke about the evolution of the media and their processing of information. The opportunity for him to affirm that LaVar Ball took full advantage of it, he whom he described at the time as the “Kardashian of basketball”. Seriously, he only owes them to his players.
For the youngest or those who are not necessarily interested in the music industry, Milli Vanilli is none other than a successful R&B group from the 1980s and 90s. Made up of two members, it collected hits and awards… while only lip-syncing. A deception which ended up being revealed, and which would turn out to be similar to that of Kerr according to LaVar Ball. Not sure that everyone agrees on this point.
Upset at having been compared to a member of the Kardashian family by Steve Kerr, LaVar Ball was unsurprisingly quick to offer him an equally scathing response. Clearly, both of them know how to handle the art of the murderous comparison!
