Carlos García Pasán and Jesús Verano Fernández have taught a national course of four master sessions that included judokas from Asturias, Madrid, Catalonia, the Valencian Community, Andalusia and Murcia.
In the training, technical and improvement aspects of the Judo Katas were developed for judges and athletes who perform in national and international competitions.
During the activities they perfected, among others, nage no kata, with which Belén Ortiz obtained the national bronze in June, in addition to other katas.
The concentration included the participation of three Alhameña judokas: Caroline Houdusse, Andrea Ortiz and Belén Ortiz, accompanied by their coach David Romar.
On the other hand, both in the CAR Region of Murcia (Los Alcázares) and in the Adolfo Suárez pavilion (Alhama) regional technical training training has been carried out weekly in preparation for this season’s commitments. These technical training sessions have included technicians Santiago Hernández, David Romar and Anthony Satizelle.
The Alhameño judokas had an important presence with Javier García, Rubén Molero, Caroline Houdusse, Andrea Ortiz, Belén Ortiz, Laura Andreo and Oumayma Daoudi.
The calendar for the last quarter of the year for Alhameño judokas initially foresees six national activities with trips to the Spanish Children’s and Cadet Cup of Cantabria (Torrelavega), the Valencian Federation Cup for all categories (Onteniente), the Spanish Cup children and cadets of Aragón (Barbastro), the Spanish Cup of the Iberian Kata Trophy (Cáceres) and the Spanish Children’s Cup of Madrid (Madrid), in addition to the following regional activities: Regional Absolute Championship (Lorca), Judo Games La Fair with kata championship and martial arts demonstrations (Alhama), Alhama Children’s and Cadet Cup (Alhama) and Judo Festival (Alhama).
Three referees at the European Police and Fire Games
Last Saturday, a judo competition was held in Torrevieja within the European Police and Firefighters Games that featured the performance of three members of the Alhama Judo Club: Ángel Cánovas, Natalia Gómez and Ángel Luis González.
The Alhameño referees performed correctly and were congratulated for the organization of the event.
