✅ Kevin Durant. 39 points for “KD”, heroic but lonely without Devin Booker or Bradley Beal. His 8 lost balls are regrettable, but we readily forgive him as he was the only one who could bring danger to the Suns side. It’s no coincidence that his two outings completely revived the Lakers in each half…
✅ Anthony Davis. Vengeful after his first failed outing, “AD” bounced back well and behaved like a boss, as hoped by his coach and LeBron James. He took the advantage over Jusuf Nurkic and his association with Christian Wood did the Lakers a lot of good in the last act. It’s not Kevin Durant who will say the opposite.
⛔ Jusuf Nurkic. Apart from this first quarter where he dominated under the circle, the Bosnian did not weigh on the match, standing out above all for his clumsiness, his mistakes and his lost balls. Problematic in the absence of the Booker/Beal duo, since he was supposed to be Kevin Durant’s main lieutenant.
⛔ Los Angeles 3-point address. Only 5/29 by far for the Lakers who, like D’Angelo Russell (1/7), Gabe Vincent (0/5) or LeBron James (1/5), were sorely lacking in success in this exercise .
