NFL Regular Season 2023: This is what the schedule for the new season looks like
Once again, 32 teams are taking part in the new NFL season. They compete in four divisions (North, East, South and West) in the AFC and NFC conferences. Each team plays 17 games in the 18 weeks of the regular season. Each team plays twice against the teams from their division – once at home and once away (six games). After a three-year rotation process, each team also meets four teams from a different division of its own and the other conference (AFC and NFC). There are another four games against all other teams from another division. Three additional games will be played against teams that achieved the same division placement in another division in their own and other conferences in the previous season. The four division winners in each conference ultimately qualify for the playoffs. Three wild cards each go to the three best teams from the AFC and NFC that were unable to win their division. You can find the schedule for the 2023/24 regular season, among other things here.
