OHL has decided to make a radical decision regarding its coach, Marc Brys. Following the very poor start to the season, Brys was shown the exit.
Being fired on Friday the 13th… So, there are sometimes unmistakable signs.
OHL decided this afternoon to thank Marc Brys, its head coach. “Marc Brys arrived in Louvain in June 2020 and managed our club for 118 matches. Under the leadership of Marc Brys, OH Louvain has become a stable first division club in recent seasons,” explains the club press release, justifying his decision by recent poor results.
“This season’s performances and results have not lived up to expectations. The club feels obliged to end the collaboration immediately,” the statement continued.
The interim will be provided by the current staff and the U23 coach, Eddy Vanhemel.
