PSG: Marco Asensio back to collective training

Two months later, here comes Marco Asensio again. Victim of a foot trauma with the Spanish team against Georgia (7-1, September 8), the former Real Madrid player was, according to our information, this Monday morning at the PSG Campus to participate partially to collective training.

The day after the victory in the last minutes of the match against Brest thanks to a goal from Kylian Mbappé (3-2), he took part in part of the morning session, before continuing individually on an adapted program. Initially announced to be in treatment until the end of September, the Iberian international saw the duration of his convalescence lengthen since he only resumed training with a ball on October 18.

Now, Asensio feels good and did not feel any particular discomfort this Monday. He should continue his return with his partners, who were entitled to cleaning and treatment for the starters and more in-depth exercises for those who played little or nothing in Brittany on Sunday.

While some players, including Kylian Mbappé, are expected at the Châtelet theater this Monday evening for the Ballon d’Or ceremony, the Parisian group continued this afternoon with a “workshop” with the capital’s club partners. This Tuesday, Luis Enrique’s men will be off and will resume training on Wednesday afternoon (5 p.m.) to prepare for the reception of Montpellier on Friday evening at the Parc des Princes.
