Puck Pieterse conquers the Mountain Bike World Cup, Tom Pidcock suffers two punctures | WB mountain bike

Puck Pieterse (21) has won the Mountain Bike World Cup. A 6th place in the penultimate heat was enough for the Dutch rider of Alpecin-Deceuninck.

Puck Pieterse is having a great mountain bike season. After winning several World Cup rounds, the European title and two World Cup medals, she put the icing on the cake with a final victory in the World Cup.

Pieterse finished 6th in the American ski resort of Snowshoe, the setting for the penultimate World Cup round.

“Amazing,” the Dutch woman responded. “The entire race I had the ranking in my head. I am very happy that I succeeded.”

Next weekend Pieterse will ride the final round in Canada, where the Dutch can also win the World Cup short track. Then she gets her cross bike from the garage.
