Weekend of pure basketball in all corners of our country. Last Saturday and Sunday the first phase of the men’s U13 Federal Training League was played, with the dispute of direct crosses. The 61 teams are distributed in six regions and this weekend those who are still in the race for tickets to the Interregional Home Run phase were defined.
DATES
1st Phase – Direct Crossings: October 7 and 8
2nd Phase – Direct Crossings: October 20 and 21
3rd Phase – Final NOA and NEA: November 4 and 5
4th Phase – Interregional Quadrangulars: November 17-18-19
5th Phase – Final Foursquare: December 1-2-3
*The NOA and NEA regions will use the first three phases. Other regions will need two, with a free date in the next one.
After this weekend, 33 teams qualified and will compete in the second stage of direct matches, scheduled for Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21, in the best of two games on the court of the best placed team.
In the Western Region, those classified were: Olympic Cyclist from La Banda, Independiente BBC, El Ceibo, Alberdi from Villa Mercedes, Asociación Miter from Tucumán, Amigos from Barrio Maipú, Sportivo Bolivar from Villa Carlos Paz and Alianza de Jesús María. For the Coastal Region: Colegio San José, Temperley de Rosario, Institución Sarmiento, Lanús, Tres de Febrero and Atlético Rosario Tala.
In the Central-South, the following are still in the race: IAE of Mar del Plata, Puerto Comercial of Bahía Blanca, Bahiense del Norte, Unión of Mar del Plata, Sportivo Realicó of La Pampa and Universal of La Plata. In the Southern Region, the following qualified: Del Progreso from General Roca, Atenas from Carmen de Patagones, Jorge Newbery from Carmen de Patagones, Club Cipolletti, San Miguel from Río Gallegos and Independiente from Neuquén.
They will be in the next round for the NEA Region: Regatas Corrientes, Tokio de Posadas, El Coatí de Eldorado and San Martín de Corrientes. For the NOA the following are still in the race: Villa San Martín de Resistencia, Sarmiento de Resistencia and Regatas de Resistencia
A total of 16 teams will qualify for the interregional quadrangular phase: four teams from the Coastal and Western Regions; three from the South and Central-South Region, one from NEA and one NOA.
