A 2013 6 Nations Tournament to forget for young Taofifenua. After his first selection against Argentina in the summer of 2012, Taofifenua did not play the autumn tour. He is still selected by Philippe Saint-André for the 2023 6 Nations Tournament. Coming into play at half-time in place of Pascal Papé, the young Taofifenua, 23, participates, for his second cap, in the humiliating defeat against Italy (18-23). Replacing again, he will only play 15 minutes during the next match lost against the Welsh (6-16). He was then removed from the group after the two inaugural defeats. Sébastien Vahaamahina, his club teammate, replaces him.
