ALBANO (news) – The man lost control of the car

Late yesterday afternoon a serious road accident occurred in Albano. A middle-aged man on board a Lancia Y lost control of the car inside the Appia Bis tunnel, crashing from one side of the road to the other.

The man was seriously injured and had to be transferred in code red with an ambulance to the Castelli Romani hospital.
The carabinieri of the Albano station and the local police were on site to carry out the investigations. The road was closed in both directions to allow the tow truck from the Albano judicial depot to remove the accident vehicle and clear the road. The road was reopened in the early evening hours.
