– This weekend the Italian Under and Junior Championships were held in Milan, at the Palabadminton.
Our athlete, Elettra Zampini, played a great tournament, winning two podiums, a silver in the junior women’s doubles and a bronze in the junior women’s singles.
Only due to a physical problem that forced her to withdraw, while she was playing the singles match in the semi-final, she was prevented from reaching the final and had to settle for the bronze medal.
In the doubles, paired with Viola Torres of BC Milano, she achieved an excellent second place.
In this important tournament he confirmed his athletic and tactical skills by beating high-level athletes and only bad luck affected his results.
