The great victory of San Fernando CD against CD Castellón last Saturday (2-0) meant great joy for the blue fans. More than 2,200 spectators generated a fantastic atmosphere at the Iberoamericano Stadium, which ended up creating a wave after Carlos León’s goal that sealed the victory.
In the authorities’ box, celebrating the victory against a team that arrived undefeated on the Island, was Dwinel Belizaire, Haiti’s ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, visiting Spain and a San Fernando CD fan for more than two decades. Belizaire did not hesitate to show off the blue scarf alongside President Louis Kinziger, who presented him with the usual gift of La Isla products during his break time.
Also during the break time, the Judo Club San Fernando was presented with a plaque in memory of their visit to the Ibero-American Stadium on the occasion of International Judo Day. Almost fifty judokas, led by their representative Rafael Bey, witnessed the match against Castellón and thanked the Azulino club for the invitation on such a special day for this martial art.
The San Fernando CD is pleased to see how the relationship with other sports and social entities in the city continues to strengthen for the benefit of La Isla.
