The Judo Club Receives Bronze Label from French Federation of Judo

The Judo club was distinguished by receiving the bronze label from the Federation.

On October 7 and 8, the national judo back-to-school course took place. For the Occitanie region this meeting was held at the sports city of Carcassonne. The Ilois Judo Club (JCI) was represented by its teacher David Danjou, 3rd dan and state graduate. This internship is an opportunity to retrieve the latest federal information. On the program, judo and jujitsu of course, but also para judo, professional training, regulations… Many themes are covered allowing clubs and teachers to stay up to date with developments in the discipline.

This update made, the JCI will be able to attack its season under the best auspices. It is off to a great start since, during this training course, the club was distinguished by receiving the bronze label from the French Federation of Judo and associated disciplines. This distinction was presented by the president of the departmental P.-O. committee, Nicolas Cloarec, in the presence of Magali Baton, world medalist and director of France judo, and Jean Luc Rougé, the first French world champion in 1975 , former president of the French Federation of Judo and associated disciplines and 9th dan.

France judo has launched its first labeling campaign to encourage voluntary judo clubs to develop and be recognized for their quality of teaching and their commitment. These labels promote the club project, the dynamics of the club, the activity and the sporting offer, the supervision and the training.

“The distinction received by the club is to be underlined. You can send your children to us and come practice judo with complete confidence, the management team and teachers will welcome you with pleasure, the doors are always open”, specifies David Danjou.
