Yesterday, the Council of Ministers approved the regulations for the development of the 2021 Anti-Doping Law, which includes the creation of a new ‘Control Group’ of athletes, subject to specific monitoring outside of competition. Athletes in this new, larger group will be required to indicate their usual training location. The text, which replaces the one in force since 2009, responds, according to the Government, to the constant need to update the legal framework for the fight against doping.
