MIAMI — Day seven, once again, will have an intriguing Monday Night Football duel.
The San Francisco 49ers are somewhat relieved, beyond losing their undefeated record, because both Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel avoided serious injuries.
For their part, the Minnesota Vikings won a victory to keep their hopes alive for now.
However, the outlook is not so encouraging with Justin Jefferson on the injured list, and rumors of the potential departure of quarterback Kirk Cousins, via trade, continue to be present.
Without further ado, let’s go with our three favorite bets for this match:
1) JAUAN JENNINGS OVER 1.5 RECEPTIONS
On the surface, it might not seem like the most attractive bet, but I think it’s one they should take advantage of. I say this because Jennings has just seven receptions so far this season. However, every time I look up, Jennings seems to have a big conversion on third down. If we add to that the fact that Deebo Samuel is in trouble, I would rush to grab this number early, in case Samuel’s absence is confirmed; If that happens, the number would go up. Jennings has had two catches in three of the last four games, and Brock Purdy has already spoken publicly about how he can always depend on Jennings; I’d be surprised if he doesn’t have an extended role this Monday night.

2) K.J. OSBORN OVER 3.5 RECEPCIONES
Whenever there is a major injury, it is a good time to take advantage of a low number on another player at the same position. In the case of the Vikings, star wide receiver Justin Jefferson is on the injured list, and while rookie Jordan Addison is off to a great start to his career, I have my eye on KJ Osborn. First of all, I have been a fan of his talent since he was at the University of Miami, and I believe that when he gets the opportunity, he will surprise everyone. Already, Osborn has 14 targets and 9 receptions in the last two games. In addition to his excellent speed, Osborn has an unusual ability to go for the ball at the top of it, making him an obvious target in the red zone. Osborn is going to have his targets, and 3.5 receptions is a very low number, even though Minnesota is about to face one of the best defenses in the NFL.
3) JORDAN MASON OVER 39.5 YARDS RUSHING
Another number to go after early, given the uncertainty surrounding starting running back Christian McCaffrey. The reality is that while the 49ers have not ruled him out, there is a good chance that McCaffrey will not play this Monday. Beyond the proper names, the identity of the 49ers is terrestrial, and that will never change. Mason has only had 21 carries so far this season, but his ball touches have made an impact, and the only reason he doesn’t have more prominence is because McCaffrey is elite and irreplaceable. However, Mason is averaging 5.5 yards per carry, and he should have success that way against the Vikings.
