The undersecretary with responsibility for Sport and Youth, Lara Magoni, will visit today, Tuesday 10 October, the headquarters of the Fiamme Gialle Sports Groups of Sabaudia (Latina) and Castel Porziano (Rome), to meet the young students who until Saturday 14 October , will participate in the Fiamme Gialle Campus 2023.
The initiative is part of the ‘Sport and Legality – School in the Chair’ project, promoted by the Lombardy Region, the Regional School Office and the Sports Center of the Guardia di Finanza.
This is a training course, now in its second edition, which combines sports practice with teaching on legality and is aimed at two-year high school students from three different institutes. The project, lasting one week, will be carried out at one of the Athlete Units of the Guardia di Finanza Sports Center in Predazzo (Trento), Castel Porziano and Sabaudia. In these centers students will be asked to carry out various sporting activities including skiing, athletics, judo, swimming, karate, canoeing and rowing. In addition to practical activity, there are seminars on legality and correct lifestyles, lessons on athletic training, workshops on respect for the environment, theater workshops, as well as guided visits to places of artistic and cultural interest near the campus.
In Sabaudia, home of yellow-green canoeing and rowing, Undersecretary Magoni will meet the children of the ‘Betty Ambiveri’ higher education institute in Presezzo (Bergamo) and will visit the sports facilities of the III Athletes’ Nucleus. Tomorrow, however, he will be in Castel Porziano, home to the Sports Center of the Guardia di Finanza and the I and II Athlete Unit, where the Campus is currently taking place with the students of the ISS ‘Grazio Cossali’ of Orzinuovi (Brescia).
